A Message From Mike Reilly

I’m Mike Reilly and I’m asking for your vote in the April 7^th election to serve as a commissioner of the Naperville Park District for the next 4 years. 4 Four-year terms on the board are open and I’d appreciate you selecting me for one of those slots.

I will work for you and your family at building a better Naperville Park District. I’ve served as a Director of the Naperville Area Homeowners Confederation (NAHC) since 2004 and served as NAHC’s liaison with the Naperville Park District since that post was created. I also served on the Centennial Beach Bathhouse Redesign Committee and I am a five term president of my homeowners association.

Below you will find more information regarding my past and present involvement in our community.  Just as important as what I’ve done in the past is what I see as a vision for the future of the Naperville Park District. I believe I can be a fresh yet experienced voice that will work effectively with other board members in a collaborative manner. Our current economic times will increase demand for lower cost recreational and educational programs for residents. The Park District can meet that demand and it must do so in a fiscally responsible manner.

Park District commissioners should focus on long term strategy and establish priorities which support those strategies. It is critical that the board, the Executive Director, and the Park District staff be on the same page.

Thank you and please remember to vote April 7^th or take advantage of early voting which starts March 16^th.

Mike has served as President of the White Eagle Club Homeowners Association for five terms, a Director of the Naperville Area Homeowners Confederation and is active in the West Suburban Irish Group.  He is committed to growing the Park District while focusing on the best interest of the Naperville residents and its lands.

Mike enjoys spending time with his wife, daughters and grandchildren as they all enjoy the wonderful activities the Naperville community has to offer.
